I can remember the store at the extreme left was a printers... then you had that little terrace, and then a glass fronted shop... and what that sold I simply cannot remember! Was it a florist?

But, just peeking out beyond that was my old home, The Platt Bridge Inn... and I still miss that pub!

It's that barmaid you miss, Dennis! I recall the printers, but not the terraced row next to it.....that must have gone when we moved to Platt Bridge.These pics are magic!

Yes Dennis the shop on left was Sutherlands Printers.the one further up was a pawn shop with the three brass balls sign, at least it was when I was a lad

The florists shop was also a dry cleaners - this would be in the early 60's I reckon.

It was also a Jewelers at the time of the Great Platt Bridge flood 1906.
