KRJ447 is harry's car. The other car has a Wigan Borough registration No. They must have gone away with another couple.
Could the third car in the photo be the one in another photo where we weren't sure of the driver? A friend maybe?
KRJ was a Salford issue of April 1956. CEK was a Wigan issue of September 1955.
I think you might be right about the third car . I've had the magnifying glass out again(!) and it looks the same as the one I've mistakenly assigned to Harry.
I have a picture of Annie Parkinson with her husband when they were older and he is wearing a pair of glasses the same as the mystery driver.
They must have been travelling in a convoy.
It must have been a good little car to survive for 20 years.

Not me, we didn't believe in cars in Burns Close!! Just to add to the Pugh's shop story Mr Pugh was most concerned when my uncle Pat asked him for a "half Loaf" Something quite common where he came from in Scotland but clealy not on Poolstock Lane.
