Was this taken at the start or at the end of the crawl - the latter I hope!!
that was taken at the start - a pub on Wigan Lane
Think I recognise the chap second right, middle row, with the cap and sunglasses on.
A bet you can't tell who I am on here
the 'invisible man' posts comments on photos here regularly but i don't think he's recognised himself this time! all will be revealed shortly
Jemmy - you beat me to it! you look better with your mug covered
how many others can you name Jemmy? i see the three Priest brothers
front row l to r me,danny priest, malc holland, dave schofield, bill aldridge, and johnny bolton.
Always been a big ape'th that Malc Holland always wounderd why his middle name was mitch
Middle Row: Frank Priest, Chuck Connors, Jimmy Priest, Steve Walters, Jemmy ‘better with face covered’ Glover & Ronnie Smith, who has aged today to look like that mask he is wearing!
Half the pub used to borrow that gorilla suit! I remember when we did a sponsored fancy dress barrel push from Warrington to the Boot and a big alsation chased Malc through Platt Bridge and tried to ‘give him one’ outside the King Billy – funniest thing I ever saw!!!
Don’t know who enjoyed it most – the dog or the gorilla!
Almost 1980,it was in the middle of Christmas and Newyear 1979 about 28th Dec.think pub is The Saracen's Head Bert Dukes is thowd chap waving stick Tommy Pyke is school girl centre back
