Hi does anyone have anymore photographs from bickershaw coronation? My auntie (Barbara Green) was the queen for the day.my grandma used to have the chippy on bickershaw lane BEST CHIPS EVER!!!

Coronation
Bickershaw Lane! I remember we had a street party as many did. The children had their sandwiches, cakes and Jelly in Mr Scotts garage. The photo was taken at the backs of the houses on Bickershaw Lane and I remember nipping home briefly and seeing the rest of my family watching the coronation on the telly. It’s a long time ago, I was 5 years old and there were a lot of kids on the Lane in those days, I have tried to name some of them below.
Bottom row 1st left John Kenyon (standing) Sitting next to John is Carole Blears. ? ? (Maybe two of the Taylor brother’s) Kenny Ince. ?. ? . 4th from the right Betty Battersby (me) Next to myself Edward Blears and Jean Hesketh and on the right of the bottom row Kathleen Burke.
Middle row 1st left ?, 2nd left Jimmy Eddleston, Mavis Mann, Teresa Southworth, Jean Ince, Margaret Hesketh, Then ? (May be another Taylor brother) Pat Burke, David Kenyon, Jimmy Scott, Barbara Scott. On the far right may be Tommy Southworth?
