This is Roby Mill St. Teresa's team circa 1950. It is taken alongside the changing rooms with Farley Lane to the right leading up to Crow Lane and Dalton. However the picture is probably of team that reached the Laithwaite Shield Final of 1952 losing to Moss Lane YC. The picture line-up is as follows Back Row L-R 1.Tom Lathom 2.Jimmy Brown 3.Tom Speakman 4.Brian Wilson 5.Al Holcroft 6.TBC ?? 7.Raymond Kirk 8.Jim McNamara 9.David Kirk ?
Front Row L-R 10.Trevor Lathom 11.TBC ???12.Bernard Ashcroft 13.Tom Burns14.Bob Porter?15.Tommy Grady
The detail is franked by my Uncle who played in the team and Jim McNamara who recalled playing in the Cup final. The match recorded on the Wigan amateur league's roll of honour.Any extra details people could add or pass on would be appreciated.

Number 5 on the back row is my father, Ken Brown. Jimmy Brown, No 2, is his father who lived across the road in Farley Lane.
