This photo is dated March 1927 and shows the clubhouse at Spring View Cricket Club at the time. The figure standing in front of the door could be my father Arthur Evans who would have been age 8 at the time

I have the feeling that you believe this lad to be none other than your Dad, Andrew.
And no doubt the clubhouse would have been celebrated on its completion. I must admit though, that at first glance I'd been a bit puzzled as to why so fine a building's defensive walls should have been so mis-aligned; Closer inspection found them to have been correctly aligned - as if for a battlement's bowmen.
Hope you'll excuse my tail-end bluster. Thanks.

This photo is lovely and of its time (1920's). Reminds me of the books we read at school in the infants,' Milly-Molly-Mandy' and her little friend Billy Blunt. They were pen and ink drawings for the illustrations, they were so descriptive.

Is this area still referred to by Viewers’, and may be Platt Bridgers, as Clinker Valley?.

There's a set of pics in the Album, under Spring View, which shows the installation of the old railway carriage which replaced this hut. Sadly nothing like as clear as this pic.

Albert, the ground is on the old Dower house farm, and I would say very adjacent to clinker valley.

SVCC was formed in 1926 and the clubhouse was most probably built by railway workers from Springs Branch along with most of the materials

This picture was also taken at the ground where the new Rail super depot was.
