A slightly improved photo that Bernard Seeling first posted in 2010, his grandfather, the great Charlie Seeling is in this team. This match was played at Central Park on 19th November 1910 and Wigan beat Leeds by 10 points to 6.
At the end of the season Wigan finished top of the League but lost in the Championship play off to Oldham, they also reached the Challenge Cup final losing to Broughton Rangers but won the Lancashire League. Wigan were beginning to put together a side that was going on to win silverware.

Dick Ramsdale's sister was my great aunt. His grave can be seen in Wigan Cemetery, towards the western end.He was the first Wigan player to play for England.
