Carl Roden was a neighbour when I lived in Ince. He stopped and gave me a lift last week, I hadn't seen him for years!

It must have been taken very early 1970's as the old River Doulas side stand was knocked down in 1972 if I remember right.
I remember a few of those young lads - Terry O'Neil and Tony Connolly both in the same class. Tony was full of mischief and had to sit on his own table at the front of the class near the teacher's desk. I wonder if he remembers that! He was the class clown. Funny what comes to mind when you haven't seen someone for years and years
Some Orrell Colts in that lineup - Hilton, May and Bolton. Great lads to be in and around.
I played with a lot of these lads later in the 70s
