Hi, "ttd", I've seen your comments before so couldn't resist joining in. I'm also baffled by the player behind Allan Brown! However the player at the right hand side is not Roy Wilkinson as I also know Roy from H.A.G.S. It is I think Ralph Gubbins.
Ivor, Could the other man in the photo be Carl Davenport.
No, it's not Carl, too tall for him. Having had a little more time to think about it, I'm pretty certain it's Alf Jones who played full back. Not a regular in the team which is probably why we couldn't place him. Seem to remember him giving away a silly hand ball for a penalty in an F.A. Cup match?
