See Ernie Cunliffe at left half. Top class sportsman. Played cricket against him many times one of the best I played against, great competitor.

How the teams lined up in those days was better to watch not the boring one at front And it was better in rugby league when the hooker had to win the ball in the scrum Everyone knows who is getting the ball at scums now pathetic
