Playing for your shirt was the only big concern for these true warrior gentlemen.

I don't suppose they expected anything else other than playing the game they loved....what an unfair world compared to today 's players.

Ted Slevin would be priceless in todays game ,he certainly knew how to open up the oppositions line and supply superbly accurate passes to his supporting teammates. Have great memories of Teds days at Fartown.
