Hi Phil,still got trophy ,thy must have been a good team to win that.the thing is he never talked about it,so i don't know much.they all must have passed away now.i know he came back from Australia with the ausie army,and lived with my auntie Lilly in Abram when he was on leave.

Hello there Keith Penington I think we are related my Grandfather was Tommy Pennington married to Magge Pennington of 292 Warrington rd Lower Ince my mum was Joan Pennington passed away 28th June 2009 she had 2 sister Elizabeth (Lizzie) and Sylvia t Brothr Cyril and our Lad who died just after the war My Nanna Margaret Pennington never divorced my grandfather he used to have a wheel barrow round wigan selling fruit and veg if anyone can remeber any of this please e mail me chtistinejolley@btinternet.com thank you x
