Tattoos are only for sailors, convicts and prostitutes. They portray a bad image. They aren't clever.

Well it is Jake's body after all, if he finds this tattoo an honour in memory of his grandad and he likes it and had it done professionally, then so be it. The tattoo industry has come a long way from when it had and was visited by folks of bad reputation.

Jake, you must have been very proud of your grandad to have had the tattoo done, so look on it with pride and enjoy it along with your memories, and ignore any pejorative remarks.

I am very proud of my grandad and I am made up with the tattoo.. George I think your stereotypical mind is disgusting and you need a reality check, you wouldn’t say that to somebody in person with tattoos who isn’t any of the above…

I wonder if George and Mick have ever done anything daft in their youth… I am sure they have. It’s nothing to do with either of you what Jake has done - it’s his arm whatever you think about tattoos. Seems to me George only comes on here to pass scathing comments. Plus it doesn’t take much for Mick to poke his nose in either. My dad had a tattoo on his arm from his Army days it’s what young men did… Jake shouldn’t have to explain why he’s got his tattoo done, it’s entirely up to him. I’m not daft either for defending his right to do as he wants to his own body. I have seen far worse than that on men and women. Their choice their body...
