Debi: I do wish you well getting more information about your grandads friends, it may help your quest if you could give more info relating to your grandad, like where did he live, what school did he go to, where did he work etc.
You see his mates might be work related, not necessarily from school.
Good luck.

George Hilton Molloy, born in 5,5,1910,lived in city road Kitt green, must have gone to the local school, but left at the age of 13, because it was,nt learning him anything,George and 2 friends joined up together at the start of the 2nd world war, they had no jobs, and no money,I believe this photo was published in the local newspaper at the time,,3 friends go to war, it would be lovely to find out if his friends survived,Grandad only died in 2011 at the age of 101, he married lily lees and had one daughter, Kathleen, my mum, thank you John g, fingers crossed,

Just a bit more info about George Molloy, just in case it helps to jog someone's memory, George had 2 sisters, Alice, and Agnes, both passed away now, a brother Tom and a brother Joseph, also passed away, hope it all helps to name his friends,
