I remember the lady second from right- she lived in St Patrick St near the boy's school. Her son was Brian I believe - could be wrong - I remember him from school.
Hi Veronica, you are right,she was married to William 'Billy' Baxter who played for England Rugby League and they did have a son called Brian.

Is your family related to the former Huddersfield and Widnes rugby league player Gerard Howe? He married Rita McEvoy.
Hi Keith, yes, Gerard was my uncle, my dad's younger brother. William in the picture (on the left) was his dad, and the rest were his Aunt's and Uncle.
Hi Keith, I am Gerard's youngest son. Did you know my dad/mom?
