Here are the lapel badges of the Cyclists Touring Club that were worn by John and Ethel back in the 1920s and can be discerned in one or two of the photographs.

Miniature works of art, and well worth keeping.

I see wheels and spokes in the design and at first I thought it was leaves -now I am reminded of feathery wings-would that be correct? The meaning being speed as fast as a bird! Correct me if I'm wrong.
