This is a pic of the late John Benn, Sports editor of the Wigan Observer. John was a member of the G&S at one time and this is him in costume. The pic was loaned top me by John's widow Anne

This is John as Private Willis (Grenadier Guards) in Iolanthe. John did part of his national service attached to a Guards regiment.
