Hello,
Does anyone know any names of any of the people on this photo?
Think I've managed to spot my Great Great Great Grandad but I'm unsure to whether its definitely him.
or... does anybody know the date of this photo?

The 5th Manchesters were T.A. and based near to me at Hollingworth Lake near Rochdale in late 1914 . There are a number of pics of them at that place on the web. Unfortunately not many came back as they were sent to the bloodbath that was Gallipoli.

1/5th (Wigan), Territorial Force, which sailed from Southampton on September 10, 1914.
The 5th, 7th, and some 8th Battalions of the Manchester Regiment were here at Hollingworth Lake up till September 1914.
