I've always had a love for the artistry of the enamel badge Philip and still have them emblazoned all over my favorite motorcycle jacket. If i lose one it can usually be replaced. That's more than i can say for what's left of my pearly white's these days

GW - I agree with you; enamel badges are miniature works of art and continue to fascinate collectors of all ages. As their subjects and varieties are many and varied, collecting them might at first appear to be a rather confusing undertaking for collectors new to the hobby but, thankfully, much literature has been compiled to aid they and more experienced collectors alike. As your collection of enamels must by now have taken their toll on your biker's jacket, I guess you'll soon be splashing out on a brand new Belstaff Trialmaster. Take care, and thanks.

I'll tell you what I want, what I really really want, ( apologies to the Spice Girls.), I want to see a photo of you on your bike GW. Come on now, you must have at least one......at the very least.... Let me guess...... Triumph Tiger Cub.....No, wait ! ....no,...no.... I'm going for.... Wait a minute.... Let me think...come on now, back off, give me a bit of space... Royal Enfield Crusader sports... The one with the fancy shaped fuel tank. Am I right ? Probably not. Anyway, failing that, let's at least have a look at the leather jacket with the badges in.

Actually the jacket must be 80 years old and it's the badges that are holding it together. Cheers Philip.
