Me Grandad & John at the back door of the garage that was the petrol station on Wigan rd Westhoughton No 749 near the greyhound track.

The garage was called Marsh Brook Filling Station
Thank you wiganer I did not know what it was called, I remember going visiting Grandad on the trolly bus we got on at Platt Bridge, do you remember them.

Yes I remember the trolley buses, they ran from Atherton to
St Helens you would have to get of at Hindley and get on a
59 bus or a 38 bus to Bolton or Manchester and get of at
Peter St which was on the opposite side of the road to the
petrol station.
