The houses to the left were Low Hall cottages,the other building is Burrows Farm,I put a similar photo in under Places in Hindley,but it could actualy be Ince,I think the Hockery Brook is a boundry for Hindley and Ince.
Is the place still there? As i can't recollect seeing it when passing on the train.
Only the farm is still there,the houses were demolished quite a few years ago,have a look on Places- Hindley and there are a couple of photo's of them.
If you walk along the cycle path from the Hockery Brook towards Belle Green Lane, you will see this farm below you on the right as you cross over a bridge just a few yards up the path. Currently is has quite a few horses there.
Mr Mrs Seddon owened Low Hall Farm from about 1958 1990 happy times.Was sold to Government supposedly to make way for the new by pass which never developed
Did eric staniforth live here in the 1980s
