I think they were in the new uniform of the Home Guard according to the leather anklets.E.T.

You are right Eric, Dad was in the Home Guard, before my time though, he was only 20 years old in 1940.

Well I would have known it was your Dad straight away, don't think he changed at all. I bet you got some great stories about his time in the home guard.Lovely photo.
