Wigan Album

Taken in Crawford St.,Rev David. Not sure where Bishopgate actually is. Put `bishopgate wigan` on Google and if you place the little man, on the map, just between the old bluecoat school and Hallgate, you get a photo of no.3 Bishopgate.
I was christened in this church in 1928 and cried all the time! It was because `Wigan Pier`, the old tippler, was demolished that year!

After posting my comment I`ve looked at Wigan Streets, Bishopgate. Brian has taken two photo`s and second one shows the street nameplate.
