John Conroy & Sons Fruit Merchants 68 Market Street, Wigan.
Very old photo,sorry about the quality.I think this was early 1900s and taken when it was John Conroy & Sons before the brothers (my grandad was one)split up to run their own businesses.I think my father lived above this shop when he was a lad.

My grandparents Edmund and Hanna Conroy ran Conroy and sons. Their daughter Helena was my mother. Brother Edmund and I have spent many memorable vacations above 68. So nice to see such an old photo. Last time I visited from California it was an age concern.

Charles Peter Conroy was my granddad ,Ann, I never knew him as he died in 1950 and I was born in 1957.
