Excellent pic Fred. I worked there 1968 - 1972. Some good people, and happy times there.

I worked here 1972 - 1975 in the Card Room... some of my happiest memories are here... even though it was noisy and dirty, i still have the deafness to prove it lol

Hi Sue, I remember you telling me you were in charge of several carding machines.

my dad jimmy stringman used to work there years ago, he was the wage clerk or something like that, we has kids spent many hours there just before they pulled it down, waiting for him to finish some work. nice to see those pictures again.

my mum worked there late sixties early seventies used to go and pick her up with my dad the place seemed very spooky not very well lit years later used to play there with my mates before it got pulled down

I used to live behind the mill in wildes cottages and used to play on top of the mill via the fire escape at the rear. Happy days. Miss them.
