GREAT PHOTO JOHN. I SPENT MANY HAPPY HOURS IN THAT BOX ILIVED NEXT DOOR (THE QUEENS) MID FORTY'S. THE BUILDINGS TO THE RIGHT WERE THE STABLES BELONGING TO THE QUEENS WHERE MY FATHER RAN A COAL BUSINESS FROM THERE ASWELL AS THE PUB

Hello again Geoff,in touch with you after all these years is hard to grasp,but like you a name and no face.I left Bickershaw in 1952 after my Gram died and went to live in Wigan.In the early 70's I moved to London, and in 1987 down to Kent where I'm finding it harder to be retired than to work but I keep trying.Good to hear from you.
