Hindley Golf course in about 1960s. The house in the distance is, I think, Rose Cottage opposite the end of Withington Lane.
There is a farm about halfway down Withington Lane between here and the bottom row. One day there was wedding. We threw confetti at the car and they threw pennies back at us. What a day! Nearly emptied the penny tray.
