Taken from under trees near the farm at the side of Hindley Hall Clubhouse and pointing at Withington Lane with the downhill bottom row evident and top row higher up. At least, this is what I think but I have doubts because I would have thought the wutchie would be in view behind. It must be just out of camera right distance.

is this photo not looking towards the old john englands in hemfield road.
I have a feeling the farm is to the left of this photo. there was a path from the farm to hemfield road. the area where the farm is used to be called peggy spout. I used to live on that farm but only until i was three.

Pamker I can get better resolution than this and pick out the chimneys on the houses so I'm pretty sure that it's Withington Lane which puts the Hemfield Road direction due left from here. I still don't really understand the missing Wutchie bit though.
