Pleasure boat at Poolstock first lock c1953 and pointing uphill. If they take a right turn in a bit it will be a pleasure climbing up the locks. Probably a rare sight at the time, they've already attracted a gallery on the footbridge.
As kids, we used to pick a boat in the evenings at Rose Bridge and 'help' them to work the locks all the way up.
