It looks more like the May queen and where they are is on the old institute field lower ince

This was the site of the new Ince Central School used as the old rec before the school was built

Could the houses in the back ground be in Jackson street. Some of the houses front still look the same. I remember a wooden fence to the school being there went i went to the nursery, school was ince central. St Williams did not have a nursery then and the fence was there for some years. Not sure now many
