This is my brother Thomas,down the path that leads to the red pond.spent many an hour playing over tip.about 1946.

Lynn - I think you'll find that the 'Adams' referred to is in fact the Douglas bridge mentioned; i.e. Adams bridge, near the Saddle at Newtown.

I used to live in the house next door to the one in the picture. My Grandparents lived there Hurley/McKeon.

I remember Mr-mrs Meadows (harry) they daughter margaret.Guys they had two boys i think(david-stan) they lived in that row.we lived in hopwood st behind the saddle,Thomas ,margaret,kathleen,viv.

I lived in Hopwood Street (No. 23 I think) with my Mum & my Sister around the late 60s

hi kath,i lived at number 15 hopwood st,born there ,moved out around 1966(aged 15)not sure if you lived there then.

What a lovely little lad - typical child of the 40s/ 50s- reminds me of 'Just William' !
