I bought my first car off Billy Diggle. A red Mini, NJP 16C. One of the best cars I have had. It had belonged to one of his relatives. He had sold his garage and he had an office, in the building next to the sorting office in Hallgate. He was then dealing in finance, loans etc. It would be about 1968.

New Bill and Ken very well Bill used to provide the finance for our car sales in the mid seventies, top chap, happy memories
My dad owned garage on Warrington road, Bill Diggle.
He loved Goose Green & made many good friends there.
