I only ever heard of it being Ince Wagon Works.

This map is going back a bit. I don't suppose it could be useful back to the 1960s to see how the works operating then. Looking back in history, very much on this map would almost certainly have disappeared.

I lived in one of the houses 1940s to 1960s on this map, on Warrington Road between Norman St and Henry St.

I lived in Margaret Street up to 1968 and I still remember all the names of people that lived in that street then

Roy I'm the same age as you and we were mates in the 50s and 60s.

The Wagon works on the map was always known as Lower Ince Wagon works.
