Well just look at that !
I went to the Wesleyan School in Dicconson St. We used to have a Christmas Carol Service in the chapel & I remember standing up there with the organ behind me & reciting to the audience below the passage from the Bible. ......and there were shepherds watching their flocks by night when lo the angel of the Lord came upon them....
I must have been abt 8 or 9 yrs old & living with my Aunt & Uncle further up Dicconson St.

When you look at this picture with the magnificent organ and woodwork, let alone the the beautiful exterior of the church it saddens me to think of what little value was attached when pulling it down to build a ring road.
