Another good pic Ron, I remember when it was Ted's bakery lovely pies, it's now a cafe and little ale house.

Lyons bakery was further up Gidlow Lane up the hill, Dave. Near the old picture house. Teds was further down on the corner of Pagefield street.

Whereabouts is this?

Could it be 206 Gidlow Lane? with Throstlenest Avenue bring the side street?

Keith - thats correct. The corner of Throstlenest. Fifty odd years ago my gran lived a couple of doors away from the shop, and spent half her life nattering in there with the staff.
