There was one (urinal) on the bridge on Greenough Street, on the left as you went up Greenough Street. I think that it was made of cast iron and painted green. You could go in at one end and out at the other.
Also, there was a brick urinal at the other bridge (Crompton Street), but it was just off the street and on the River Douglas footpath.

Aye Poet, and they always had an aroma that was a bit too Parisian, especially in summer.
