Gathurst Hall farm, Gathurst Rd Shevington C.1950.
The photo is an old one of a friend of Doreen Tickle of Shevington, named Ellen Wadsworth, who lived at the farm C.1950, who moved away around that time to possibly Warrington area.
My friend Doreen, of Shevington, who’s grandfather was lock keeper at Gathurst and is now 90, wonders if anyone else recalls Ellen her or the family?
Gathurst Hall farm is the one near the canal at Gathurst where the caravans are.

It's so nice to see my nan but unfortunately my nan passed away in 2018. But what a lovely picture.

How lovely for you both, to have this photo of your gran. She reminds me of my mum, I think it's her hair.She looks lovely.
