quite right i remember sitting in that room waiting while walters grandad put irons on my clogs as i remember nothing as changed it was just the same as the photo

MrHurst made me a leather football for my 5th birthday(1951)I remember a lovely smell of leather in the shop and Mr Hurst working away with a cigarette permanently between his lips.Walter Hurst & Sons real craftsmen.
I have a pair of clogs (child size) by Walter Hurst in Western Australia.
