Shadows haunt thy pallet,
to paint what came before,
to bring again what was then,
and dawn again once more..
Shadows don't deny me,
what hides within thy walls,
to follow footstep memories ,
that beckon daily calls...
I only have my pencils,
and sketch pad for to draw,
to capture what you tell me,
and remember what I saw.
They might be only memories,
but each of those are mine,
those treasures are within me ,
of when I came one time..
FW : That's very good verse, I'am not really in to poetry, but that was slightly haunting in some lines.Well done.
