That Swing Beam, DTease. It reminds me of the size and effort needed to fit a new 'piece' into the side of grand old boat. A clip from Tom Cunliffe's 'The Boats that Made Britain' shows the lads in action.
Noticed elsewhere: Four thousand oak trees to build a galleon. And the country built thousands of 'em'.
