It is and very nice it looks too, hopefully someone will find the will and also a vast amount of money to renovate Pagefield Mill which was featured on the BBC news today, a derelict carpet mill in Halifax which has been renovated was also shown, it is now apartments, businesses and offices.

At what cost? Was there not a lottery grant involved?

Several old mills in Skipton have been renovated and have offices and apartments inside now.

Don’t worry , investment is coming via Boris . You never know in years to come we could have the town we all hope for , I for one certainly hope so but doubt though at my age I will see it . But saying that, you have be optimistic if only for the young folk coming on . We have to show them at least we are moving forward somewhere at least , or else we aren’t going no place in my eyes . A good drinking pal of mine , now long gone , God Bless him , once said to me , ‘There’s a front door and a back door , But always remember , our doors , front or back , only go to the lavvy ! At the time I took it as something that came from the five pints we’d had , but realise now my dear friend had more wisdom I thought he had .
