I don’t care what the “Modernisers” say, I would much rather see a scene like this in the Town Center than their steel framed square boxes.

D'Tease,you are so right..Wigan seems to have lost all of its character,you would never see York nor Chester for example with all the glass boxes that seem to have taken over in Wigan.. The authorities should be ashamed.

That is a beautiful frontage to The Makinson Arcade, Wigan should be proud of it. Hope nobody is allowed to mess with it....
