Wonder if Mangle Wurzels are still grown as a crop, apparently, according to a net search, they were once grown as fodder for farm animals, but its said they are very nutritious for folks to eat, both the root and leaves are edible. Though I suppose they'll be like a big beetroot - which some folk love, whilst others hate.
