‘Affordable’ housing near Red Rock.

This house is built on the site of Lord Crawford’s Button Pit at Bawk House, the site of a gruesome murder when the remains of the night watchman were found in his own furnace.

If by the most remote of chances I came into possession of that house I would sell it on quick! Does nothing at all for me,or any similar to it.

Veronica, I agree with you entirely, I suspect that the people responsible for this house may have a considerable amount of capital but have yet to acquire taste.

I would buy a few sheep to avoid all that mowing.

I would love that boat .

I’m with you Maureen ! I could quite happily drift down the canal watching the world go by on this one . Perhaps, stop for a nice lunch in a pub along the way. Sounds like a win win to me . I would never even have to see the house , just take their boat every now and then .

Indescribably vulgar. A complete and utter eyesore.
The sort of thing a very stupid lottery millionaire would have built.
Thank heavens for the boat in the foreground to distract us.

Good 'sound' thinking, XPat. And, at the end of the day, Snowdrop's built-in lullaby to for'ard your slumber; The lap-lapping, and her gentle sway most sleep-inducing. Then come the morn', . . . Aweigh!
