Great scene DTease. And a nice situation for TV cameras to have covered a Snowman-building competition . . . what? . . . the hurry-scurry, braziers, hot chestnuts, mufflers . . . . If only.

A Christmas Day morning and a brisk walk before a breakfast of pork sausages and scrambled eggs. Those were the days. And long before the Range Rovers appeared on the paths leading to the hall. Is that the 10.08 diverted down Christmeas Day only Glasgow express I hear thundering up the Whelley Loop?
