One of two watercolour prints that I bought from the artist about twenty years' ago at a Billinge Craft Fair? I seem to recall him telling me that he had been born in Billinge, and that his studio was based in Burtonwood. A gentleman he was.

A gentleman of some talent Philip.

Indeed he was, DTease. And don't your, and my two most recent offerings, sit alongside each other quite nicely; each, evoking memories of those 1950s Brooke Bond Tea cards. Thanks.

Poet.
After having a bit of a search to discover what type of bird it is, I then came to the same conclusion as yourself. Thanks.
Maureen.
They're as if you can almost reach out and touch them, aren't they. Ouch!
