Walk past here very regularly. It's hard to imagine how industrial it used to be nearby.
No wonder he's got a long face.
I agree Poet; that's what the Canal Turn (or should that be the'New Springs') can do to the spirit of a trusty steed.
Can't help thinking of the 60's series Mr Ed! A horse is a horse of course, of course, unless the horse of course, is the famous Mr Ed!
He wouldn't have needed the sign of course, 'cos he could talk! There used to be some daft TVs series even in those days!
Mr Ed was great Veronica, it made me laugh, I think it was funny...much better than some TV programmes today. But that's only my opinion.
It was still a more innocent time Garry...
Loved Mr Ed. He was up there with "My Mother The Car" and "My Favourite Martian".
I loved 'Happy Days' set in the 50's - made in the 70's.
Happy Days great, Fonzie my favorite character played by Henry Winkler...I need a sherry.
