I knew who posted these photos before I even saw your name DTease, 3 more good ones. You seem to have the knack of catching a moment in time.

Agreed Helen. 'DTeasesque' should be regarded as a distinctive style. No other photographer portrays the essence of a scene like this. Such ambience. Can't you hear the wash of the waves in the reeds?

Many thanks for your kind comments Helen and Poet.

The passing boatman - wife annoyed -
Had took to water, soon enjoyed.
With gentle shift from Starboard 'mace,
He bade farewell to day long, chase.
The rippling lane was his for sure,
With darting-turn of grayling, pure.
And arrowed wake from mallard, kind;
Her easy glide with chicks once blind.
The Blessed dome was soon in sight,
Of which, he haled the builders' might.
When anchored down, he stepped ashore
Then opened wide his sketchbook '4.

I would appreciate any help from shipmates in locating a long-lost TV 'ad' (Mr Kipling springs to mind). It shows the hand of a watercolourist as he painted a church, with his words "The number of times I've painted that church." Here's hoping.

Lovely words Philip... I only remember Mr Kipling and his exceedingly good cakes! I have seen him recently in an old b/w film on Ytube... He was an exceedingly good actor!

Thanks Veronica. And further thanks for having searched for the mystery Ad'.
