I am pleased there are another couple of your photos DTease, they are of a time, not that long ago, that seems to have disappeared. The TV/radio mast seems to be suspended in the sky. Hope you will post more.

Timeless deep in the country scenes from a Thomas Hardy tale - ' Far From The Madding Crowd'. Who would know it was a very short journey into Wigan!?

We used to run down here in our pe lessons from Aspull high school in the 70s if anyone remembers who attented the school.What a lovely place.

DTease, You put up some belters! I had a very troubled childhood, not remotely stable . I found my solice and kept my sanity , in places like this .
Basically I ran to escape .
