I am pleased there are another couple of your photos DTease, they are of a time, not that long ago, that seems to have disappeared. The TV/radio mast seems to be suspended in the sky. Hope you will post more.
Agreed Helen. Great photo's DTease. You've managed to capture something in it's simplicity and find more than the sum of it's parts as they say.
Timeless deep in the country scenes from a Thomas Hardy tale - ' Far From The Madding Crowd'. Who would know it was a very short journey into Wigan!?
We used to run down here in our pe lessons from Aspull high school in the 70s if anyone remembers who attented the school. What a lovely place.
DTease, You put up some belters! I had a very troubled childhood, not remotely stable . I found my solice and kept my sanity , in places like this .
Basically I ran to escape .
Nature does not judge and gives you time to think.. Thanks DTease ,
Beautiful pic, as Veronica says this could be deepest Dorset or Devon, so lovely.
By Jove! A real five-barred gate, and so much more pastoral than the cold galvanised 'clanger' variety.
