The shop next door was Jackson and Smith , Gents Outfitters . It was there certainly until the mid sixties possibly later.

The sign writing on the gable end of the adjoining building has lasted well. It can still be seen today.

When was The Clarence rebuilt? This building is totally different from the current building

What ever happened to the Prince’s Cinema, that was down the passageway, by the side of the Clarence Hotel?.
